To be honest... I live and let... not live. All of my favorites die. It's a fact of life. Anytime I like a character - they die. It's gotten to the point where my brother will ask me who my favorite character is in a series so he can purposely dislike them because he just knooows they'll die. I am an albatros on fictional characters.

It seems like such a waste. Blurr had such an epic winning run through space... but I suppose for things to go on a little longer, he'd need to die... unfortunately.

(Since the Autobot high command is so dense, it'll take them forever to figure out what Blurr was going to tell them...)

I write fanfic. Work with a character enough- especially when it's one whose personality you have to figure out yourself- and they start to "live" in your head for a little while. I get upset when my favorites die, but it's so much worse if it's for a fandom I write rather than one I just observe. In other words... I set myself up the bomb.
