/Why are they remaking this?! I can understand F13, which has always been considered a pretty standard, schlocky slasher film, but NoES? Argh!

I honestly don't know enough about the guy to know one way or the other, so I won't maim you. ^_^

Maybe instead of sexualising only male characters they have realised the joy of now also sexualising female characters and their skin-tight empowered leather suits which draw attention to their empowered unrealistic physique. XD

I might be giving too much benefit of the doubt (and that would be a first), but I didn't read it as "you can't be a slasher and a feminist!" I read it as "I'm not a slasher anymore because I was only slashing because I hated female characters."

Rereading it, though, you might be right.

146: Yeah, in retrospect, that may well be the case in... er, this case. But there have been a few secrets that have stated slasher /= feminist, wich makes no sense to me. I mean, if a story is vilifying female characters, I get it, but last I checked, there are plenty of stories in ALL genres that do that.
