She was hardly THE WORST THING TO THE RP EVER, either. Most of what I saw was people getting mad at her for thinking she was being passive-aggressive when she wasn't. It was all very silly, with lots of unnecessary anger.

I really used to respect you too. Why so hateful? The whole ordeal could have been avoided if people weren't so quick to circlejerk.

I'm not hateful, I'm just really, really disappointed with her and the way she acted. If I were *hateful,* I wouldn't have been so willing to play out Wolf/Leon interactions so much. I would've been rude to her ICly and OOCly if I truly hated her. Hell, I was the one giving ideas for our logs, and, regarding the final log we were in together, she was incredibly rude when I had IRL stuff going on--she just wanted her damn log and instead of PMing me to see if I could start the log (which I was unaware I was supposed to do), she made two passive-aggressive posts in her characters' journals, expecting me to see them...of course, while making snippy remarks about me in the comments and complaining about me in the main chat.

That is where my example of personal disappointment lies. Don't get me wrong, though--perhaps I should have placed myself on hiatus? Hindsight is 20/20, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like the way she's treated other people and the excuse, "Well, she was trying to change" only works for so long...and if you actually show that you're changing.

And I agree--she wasn't the WORST THING. But I have to ask--what was "most of what I saw?" Because the people who fought on her side so vehemently were mostly people not really involved in the RP enough to see both sides of the issue--only a personal journal with a very personal bias. Of course, on that note, you can't tell me Cammi didn't have her own little "circlejerk" to run to, either.

No one was perfect here, alright?


Quick ETA: Besides, this secret could hardly be about SBG--it's too soon! Any secrets about that drama wouldn't even pop up 'til next week.

I'll agree, neither side was perfect. I just felt the guys doing the kicking were a BIT on the underhanded side.


If you feel like she's wronged you like that, it's possible there was a misunderstanding? A lot of what you say sounds like stuff that coulda been worked out by "I feel like you're doing such-and-such and it bugs me."
She's said herself a billion times in private and public that she's not unapproachable, if sometimes busy with RL or easily scared off by an angry atmosphere. Talk to the person if you have a beef, not the others.

It's just so strange when you know a person as one of the nicest people you know, and people are constantly going on about how she "treats people". Especially in specific situations that I would have otherwise taken with a grain of salt, cus she's just sassy like that. Could be a bit easier on words but... it's all very trivial. I've been treated much more harshly just for speaking my peace on an issue by the current running-group than her or the other guy who recently quit. One person in particular has basically shouted at me IN CHAT and no one seemed bothered.

I did take it to her, and I still felt brushed off. A lot of people took their problems up with her and felt the same. If I'd felt like this was a one time deal, I wouldn't have put any stock in it, but when you've seen it happen more than once...I don't know.

I think it's interesting that you bring up this: "she's just sassy like that. Could be a bit easier on words but... it's all very trivial." More than a few times, her choice of wording (and I'm not referring to the "gangbang" incident) has been a problem and, when people bring that up, she just brushes it off with "that's just the way I am, get used to it." That's...not really how a mod should react. Even you admit that she could stand to go a little "easier on words" sometimes. The fact of the matter is that RPs have very diverse groups of people and, as a mod, one has to appeal to all of them--not be everyone's friend, but to handle things maturely and be willing to compromise if someone says, "I didn't appreciate the way you said that." I never saw that in Cammi, and that's why I supported her removal as a mod--never her leaving the game.

As for whoever shouted at you in chat--that's not really something you can take out on those who didn't support Cammi as a whole. I had no idea that'd happened (how long ago was that, anyway?--just wondering) and perhaps it wasn't fair...but you can't blame *everyone* for that.

In regards to the "underhanded side" comment--that's why there was an apology issued, and that's why Whit went to Cammi to smooth things out. Maybe it wasn't really right of them to post the private journals for everyone to see, but at the same time, I get it--they were in a tough spot. However, what some people are having trouble grasping is that it wasn't just three or four people who wanted her out of the mod position--there were at least a dozen, myself included. A lot of us came to the mods individually, bringing up separate instances to them. The person who made the journal only pieced it all together in one place--they weren't the sole proprietor of the information. For lack of a better phrase: It wasn't one of us, it was all of us.

Bad jokes aside, I do respect Cammi as a person. Don't get me wrong on that. What I don't like is her childish behavior--including sticking around in the chat after leaving the game, pretending to be another Leon in the DR, then telling people in chat that she "wants to re-app Leon...hopefully that "new guy" doesn't beat her to it!" That's just...silly, especially when she seems to be well on her way to creating a very slick-looking new game.

I guess I just can't see why people thought it so urgent. I suppose I can't truly judge, but everyone's attitudes leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. She takes a lot of things lightly. I feel like everyone else took somethings too seriously. I can't speak for her but, well, I think things coulda gone down with a lot less drama. I can relate to uncomfortable feelings, but I can see how she would feel slighted by all this as well.

I suppose I can't take it out on people, I don't mean to. It was back during the Transformation Ball ordeal. Some people were both extremely passive aggressive to me as well as just plain aggressive. I can't remember specifically but I know it was some people who are mods now and people who agree with them. But that's all done and over with and probably not worth revisiting.

I wouldn't go as far as to say ALL of you. I can't imagine everyone had a problem with her. Hey, I never really did! Even if I didn't always agree with all of the mods choices all of the time.

What's wrong with sticking around in the chat? Sometimes I get the urge to because I like a ton of you. Is it bad to want to re-app? This is the kinda stuff that confuses me most. Completely harmless activity being interpreted as something it's probably not.

I do remember the incident that happened to you, and it didn't help that you jumped into the chat to defend someone after being ridiculously inactive in the rp (I've spoken to a bunch of people asking about what happened, and neither of the people who yelled at you are mods). Knowing the full situation sometimes helps, Pim.

Not *everyone* had a problem with Cammi, but it was certainly more than she (and her group of friends) think.

Hey, if you want to re-app, be our guest. We'd love to have you back! However, the idea about her sticking around in the chat...I just think its interesting since she had no problem with us telling people not in the game to leave our chat before, but since she's left, it's like she has a special privilege. If I'd left the game, I wouldn't go back. Other former members seem to have no problem not going back into the chat (yourself included, it would appear). If she wants to keep in contact with her friends, start another chat?

But that's a trivial claim, and I'm afraid you're ignoring a lot of what I'm saying. This wasn't an "all at once" thing, and it certainly didn't crop up overnight with the "six mods" ordeal like Cammi believes. Everyone keeps saying Cammi takes things lightly, but her attitude suggests highly otherwise. You can't punch someone in the face and turn around and say, "Haha, I was joking! No hard feelings." Maybe it could've gone with less drama, but somehow I think that's just not her style.

I do agree, though, and see how she might feel slighted. Who wouldn't? But seriously--this secret isn't even about SBG. Unless it's ~*~fRoM tHe FuTuRe~*~, it seriously couldn't be.

Sadly, though, this just proves that her pack of bulldogs will always come to her rescue.

In another reply to another comment on 161 the OP said it wasn't SBG. I'm dissapointed - I was hoping someone had managed to bend the space time continuum just to mess with us.
