I agree with a lot of this. I don't mind digging into the lore if it expands on what happened in the game, or if it's a side story. I don't even mind piecing things together based on clues in-game, but. you know. The clues should actually BE there. And I'm sure someone will go "the clues are there! You just suck at finding them!" And I say, okay, fine, but if I'm stopping every five minutes, digging around and talking to people, and am still coming up empty, I'm going to assume the game is the problem.
