105. They are one of the most boring races in the Star Trek universe. Especially when you compare them to the more complex ones like Cardassians. Klingons are too black and white. If they tell you they like you, they actually like you. If they tell you that they will put your head on a spike the next chance they can get, you'd better go into the witness protection program. However, with a race like Cardassians, they will tell you that they like you. Offer you a glass of wine. And while you are drinking it, they will tell you that they have poisoned it. Though they still like you. This is just business.

How can you even compete?

111. Agree with you 100%. I would love to crawl into these complainers' heads and see through their own eyes. Because their show is obviously a different show from mine. I wonder what other shows they see different from the rest of the world?

True that. The race also has claim to one of the best characters in all of trek. They're one of the most complicated and fleshed out races too and more interesting than the Klingons.

I like 'em both though.

I was never too keen on the Cardassians, too slimey for my tastes, but much much much preferable to the Klingons, more fleshed out and more real.

I second the Cardassian love.

Not a big fan of the Klingons, but an occasional Klingon episode was okay.

Now I agree with you about the Cardassians! Absolutely fascinating! DS9 was so unique in it's ability to flesh out characters and cultures more than the other Treks (especially Voyager, although it still holds a special place in my heart), and the Cardassians were definitely the most interesting. I feel like we were supposed to dislike them... but I just couldn't. Dukat, who I don't like in a as-a-person sort of way, is probably one of my favourite recurring characters.
