138: Seriously, you're going to have enough people giving you complexes about your sexuality for the rest of your life (because it happens to everyone, regardless of who they are, not you in particular). Don't let one fucked up character give you another one. Most of us Rorschach fangirls feel lust after him on some level and know it's insanely ironic. You don't have to beat yourself up over it.

I wouldn't say I was beating myself up, but it's an emotion that creeps over me from time to time. I really appreciate your comment. It makes me feel better. I have liked a lot of messed up characters, this one in particular just hits way to close to home on a few levels, hense me letting it get to me. Thank you very much for replying to my secret. I am not active in the fandom so I haven't really talked to anyone about how the character has effected me (usually it's strictly positively. Wouldn't Alan LOVE that...*rolls eyes*)

I understand...I think certain tropes/stories/characters/whatever hit us more deeply at certain times in our lives than others. If you need to talk about this, I actually wouldn't suggest doing it in the Watchmen fandom on lj. There are a lot of cool people on there, but there are also a lot of folk that would probably give you shit just because. Glad to help, and good luck sorting it all out!
