Gotta love de Sade. I should really read Justine sometime. What I've heard about it from friends is absolutely hilarious.

I have to admit, after reading Justine, I don't want to read anything from Sade. Ever again. 4OO pages of rape, torture and stupid arguments about why mean are superior to women and a man can kill his children if he wants to? I want it to be a one time experience.

It was quite hilarious to make comments at my sister when I was reading though: "she got kidnapped. Oups, she got raped. Hey, she escaped! Aww, she got kidnapped again. Too bad, she got raped. Again. Hey, she escaped! Oh no! She got kidnapped again!!" You got the drill?

Though I think you have to live it to understand it. Give it a try!!!

And then she got hit by lightning at the end, right?

I'm seriously tempted to read it now.

I didn't want to spoil you but yes she does!!! And it's so awesome because the final argument is something like "well, at least, she was virtuous (let me laugh at that) so she'll go to Heaven". Knowing that Sade was an atheist, it's like a big "IN YOUR FACE, WHOEVER READ THAT BOOK". I hate the book but I must say: the end made me laugh.

Hahaha, that's exactly what my friend said about it!

I seriously think it's Sade reading time now.
