Logically I KNOW that commenting isn't scary at all... and I have some friends now that I've met because I've commented on their work. But I'm not sure why it's so hard to comment on fan art or fanfic... I know it's the anxiety thing though. I've made a lot of progress already (like actually having friends), so I know I will be able to get back into fandom, but it's definitely a process.

<3 That kind of thing happens to me a lot, knowing something logically but doing the exact opposite because of some sort of weird anxiety or stupid fear or something.

I'm glad that you're making progress, and I definitely hope the best for you :D <3 Fandom, even with all it's wank and bitchery, is one of the most open, warm places on the internet (which is why it makes me sad whenever people say they're scared or something to be a part of it), you just need to know where to look.
