I admire Ursula Vernon/T. Kingfisher very much as a writer, but I am increasingly finding her romances a Big No.

Maybe because she loves incorporating elements of the grotesque in her scenery and antagonists? Could be my brain is having trouble switching tracks when the story gets to nookie...
