It's Ten & Mickey. It's a shitty cap, but it's the best I could find.

What do you find so appealing about them together, that you're not getting with the others? I'm the kind of girl that can ship just about anything (Ten/Mickey included *g*) so I'm curious *g*

Partly it's that I'm very stubborn and hate being told by the text what I "should" be shipping, and the others tended to be anviled very badly. Partly it's that Mickey's my favorite character in New Who, and the power and respect issues between him and the Doctor are fascinating. And partly it's that there's this awkward and slightly-squicky subtext of various characters sort of submerging themselves in the Doctor's identity, and I feel like Mickey's worked long and hard enough to come to terms with his own identity that he wouldn't let that happen to him.

Partly it's just the pretty. And Mickey's terrified eyes in that scene.

Don't worry, you aren't the only one. Seriously, I have always felt that they would be pretty good together, while not becoming clingy and needy like Rose and Martha did (though Martha was strong enough to break out of it, and Donna never did.)

If there were fanfiction, I would be one happy fangirl.
