You're talking to a Laurie fan. :) She's always been my favorite, to be honest, and I don't understand the amount of hate she gets, but then, I'm pretty used to liking unpopular characters. (My favorite justification for the hate was "Oh, she spends so much time whining and crying about girly things." Eh...really?)

...What? Did they read the same thing I did? O_o Sure, Laurie had her problems, but that was part of the reason I liked her -- she was the most relatable character to me. She felt human; we saw her sad, happy, in pain, angry, frustrated. This was a wider display of emotions than I saw in any other character, except for maybe Dan.

Seriously though, I agree. That's why I liked Laurie so much: I could relate to her the best out of all the characters. ^^ What's wrong with that?

THISSSS SO MUCH THIS. You summed up in a few words all the reasons why I like Laurie, but as cyanfox27 said, if a male character angsts he's a woobie who needs a hug, if a female characters does that she's whiny and bitchy. *rolleyes*
