Flash games/Y8

[personal profile] ibbity 2022-01-25 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I recently felt the need to go back and play some of the dressup doll flash games I used to play ages ago, but I forgot that flash no longer exists, so I can't play them as I used to. But, apparently there is a gaming site called Y8 that's been around for a long time, and if you download their app to your phone or computer you can use it like a minibrowser to play the flash games they had previously hosted on their site. And, one of my favorite dressup doll game sites, Azalea Dolls, has a note on their site that if you download the Y8 app you can find their games on there. I just got a new computer and don't want to do anything to destroy it, so does anyone know if this app is trustworthy and will not give me malware? Anyone have it on their device(s)?

Looking around online, seems like people don't have issues?

Make sure you have some good blocking/malware software(MalWareBytes and Avast are free) UBlock Origin for popups and whatnot, and all the blockers and things turned on on your browser. Should be okay!

You could try Newground's flash player app? I forgot the name of the app, but I heard it was reliable.
