But yeah, I pretty much felt the same way, and when someone posted about him dying of covid I went seeking info because darnit, really? Such a waste, and very disappointing. :/

"It hasn't been officially confirmed that COVID-19 was the rocker's cause of death. A statement posted on his Facebook page didn't mention the cause but said he "passed away tonight surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends."

I think if he were 'seriously ill' with COVID, he'd have been in a hospital, and his family would *not* have been allowed into the ICQ to sit with him while he died. TMZ is the 'source' that originally said he had it, so...not exactly trustworthy.

Hmm. Well I would certainly like for them to be wrong. Although more so I would like for the whole "he was anti-mask/anti-vaxx" to be wrong because that's what makes me lose respect for a person, not the manner of their death. :P

Yeah, anti mask/vax/mandate pisses me off, but frankly, he was of that age and generation who seem to flip in 'old age' to the more conservative side. Meh.

I'm only anti-mandate because it's such a slippery slope and I don't trust the government. I have nothing against vaccines, I have my booster and everything, but it should always be a choice.

Agreed. I'm pro mask & vaccine but I also believe a national, general mandate is unconstitutional. I think that instead of punishment for non-compliance, there should be a reward program. If your company gets everyone vaxxed, you get a grant or a tax break or a pizza party or something.
