104. I think it's mostly lame because it has NO DEVELOPMENT. Beyond Hinata stalking Naruto, Naruto just barely knows the girl. Yes he is pissed she died, because she died right in front of him like urgh. Please everyone stop assuming NaruHina is going to happen people. I really don't think it is.

110. Obligatory Remark on how much I loathe Joshua due to his personality, but adore him for his role, his affect on the game and what an amazing antagonist he ended up being goes here.

114. Holy crapcakes not a single het-pairing? Is that kinda shipping just not your thing or is there really that much Ho and LesYay goin' on in that game? I really should just get around to playing it one of these days, having bought it and all.

115. Oh Mimi and Izzy. I watched the dub okay don't sue me. I do adore those two in a strange, dysfunctional yet sweet kind of way.

He would tell them they are the most specialest special ever and they can be whatever they want to be and succeed, darn it... man. Dan as a dad would be surprisingly bittersweet.

141. Preach it. I couldn't care less about the pairing, Hinata stood up and said her piece at last. That alone is all I need to think positively about that chapter.

149. ... Talking about the manga or the anime? The manga has so very few chapters scanlated, which is a shame because I adore what we've seen so far and would so dearly like more.

152. Ramses was one of the first villains I truly sympathized with. I can't even read that part in the Bible without hearing "Thus say the Lord" in the background and think "Dreamworks did it better".

t!b 3. I must say I am curious about what the connection between what looks like a cutesy girl-band and a German novel about murder is.

No, I call it crack for that reason. XD I have too much time on my hands to make up illogical pairings. Most of them don't involve het because... well, I'm not sure why exactly. I don't find it as interesting, I guess? _{which is stupid, because relationships are relationships no matter if the body parts match or not}

There actually is not much AnyYay going on in the game at all besides the options to have the main character give a one armed hug to Fina, the girl in white, and I do believe Enrique gets engaged (or married, even, in the credits?) to an NPC. Then again, it has been a while since I played through it and I can't say I honestly looked that hard or analyzed stuff to make it very plausible. Seriously. Half of them don't even seem to interact with each other. Crack!pairings.

Ah, that sounds a little more like what I've heard about the game: it's more about the great sky-pirate adventurin' going on rather than romance and feelings and all that stuff Final Fantasy likes to tackle. But hey, crack!pairings is somethign I can't even be upset about. A good deal of my shipping-diet consists of crack myself, so I don't really get to have a say about whether they are good or bad.

Oh yes. That's why I love it so much. When you try to explain the plot, it sounds so lame and full of cliches. (which it is, mind you, I won't deny that.) But I guess just that it's presented in such a way that you actually do want to save the world, not because some emo guy with a huge sword is roped into it via a series of strange and unfortunate events because he is The Chosen One.

The main guy is basically like, "Hell yeah, I don't have anything particularly sky-pirate-ish planned for this weekend, why the fuck not? Sure, I'll go save the world."

That does sound ever so wonderful. I'll get right on it! After Persona 4. And Metal Gear Solid 4, and Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton and.... well. Let's just say I have quite the backlog. BUT ONE DAY. One day I will get around to playing this lovely little adventure.

Yeah, and really: I have nothing against Hinata. I think she's cute, her struggle to become noticed is at least on the surface level admirable and it's good she's finally standing up for herself, but like almost every member of her team, with the possible exception of Kiba, she is so woefully underdeveloped and unused.

She barely has screentime in comparison to Sakura, who if there even will be any romance, is the most likely candidate to win Naruto's heart (unless Kishi actually does ship NaruSasu as much as people say he does). I like Hinata alright, and I hate to harsh on people's squee, but if we look at this logically there is just no way a romance is just going to blossom up between just like that. It just isn't likely, and if the fandom suffers stupidity and new ship-flamewars... I shall be rather displeased about it.

It's called Kurosagi, which means black swindler. His dad killed his family after losing all his money to a swindler, so he lives his life in revenge with his top goal to kill that swindler. But in the drama he basically swindles back the money from swindlers and gives it back to the victims, kind of like Robin Hood with the breaking the law and whatnot. The girl Tsurara wants to be a prosecutor and lives next door to him as a tenant (he's the landlord) and she wants him to stop swindling and breaking the law, etc, and also she's in love with him. He loves to make fun of her and never calls her by her correct name (except once). There is basically lots of UST and total eyesex between them the whole series that never leads anywhere that drives me mad. @_@

Oooooh. I think I read some of the manga it's based on and found it interesting. I didn't know there was a live-action version too.

White Tiger is waaaaay out on the outside of the MU. Tamora Pierce wrote this miniseries for her. The series was chock full of crossovers with other characters, including (obviously), Spider-man.

Anime. I prefer the anime to be honest, feels more solid, plot and character development-wise. Artwork in the manga (the main one, not the Missing Mail) is much better though, but the difference in the anime is nothing that jarring.

Maybe I should check it out then... and I think it's rather odd how Missing Mail has more chapters out right now than the main freaking story. Does the anime use both the stories from Missing Mail and main-manga, or just the main?

I disagree, personally. While the anime is less sidetracked, it feels more complete. The characters are more even and more developed. The plot doesn't seem rushed and uneven (as in one episode feels like a filler, another introduces 5 more characters and stockpiles a lot of crap on top of it). Much of the side plots are rushed and then immediately forgotten. The pacing is its main issue, everything else seems to result from that.

Because there is so many more volumes of the manga that need to fit into the anime, the anime has to rush to incorporate so much plot. Manga has the time to be sidetracked and develop the characters instead of jumping straight into the plot. The anime has the one episode filler another jumping into heavy plot and boom more characters. I guess it is to say the anime is more concise but lacking. It's just my preference, I like to truly understand the characters while others are just in it for the plot.

I'm only basing this on the first 4 chapters of the manga, so maybe it really does improve. I'll have to read the rest first (calling scanlators!). Since I also haven't read the novel, I can't really compare the two, but watching the anime as is, I don't really have much complaints, even when it comes to the characterization.

104 - Actually, Hinata never stalked Naruto. That was only in the fail!fillers--otherwise, you're right. However, people are also validated in thinking that NaruHina may happen, simply because it's been given focus just about every time we see them together. As far as I know, however, no one besides the 'tards in the NaruHina camp think that the relationship is gonna happen immediately--but at least it's going to get addressed a lot sooner.

I bet Dan would embarrass his kids by trying to get their friends to join his dojo.

Yes. Yes he so would. But hey, they would sort of learn how to shoot fireballs with just one hand! That's gotta be worth something. And of course, they would also benefit from his mastery of taunts: a most potent power, that.
