(Anonymous) 2009-03-20 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)138) I too, cannot seem to enjoy TTGL because of the fankids...it's on hiatus for me I think I left off ~episode 17? But yea, considering people pimp it as the best show ever have set my standards really high and so I wasn't prepared for a mediocre shounen. Enjoy it on the same level as Naruto or Bleach or whatever the hell, but don't expect it to be the work of art that a lot of fans pretend it is or you will be sorely disappointed.
161) I am going to be honest with you: there are far bigger character flaws and reasons to lose all respect for someone than using the dub name for a character.
I don't watch Yu-Gi-Oh but making hyperbolic statements like that over a fandom based on a cheap cartoon made to sell cards to little kids makes you look like a giant baby. Hope this helps.
