you're not arguing the statement you're arguing me, attack the writer not the writing and using elaborate words to make yourself seem more impressive when really you're not making any point at all.

Christians have not 'appropriated' anything, the bible was ours given by God. If you want to go into a big debate on whether Christians have the 'right' to the bible and it's stories/teachings then you are more then welcome to start however that was not the point of my statement.

I was asking the person who posted the fandom secret to not bash a religion, not whether Moses was Jewish or not. I know he's Jewish, I've read the good book and when I said 'Christian' I was referring to the religion not to person (who Moses was)

If you can't get that through you're head then I'm not going to fight you for it in a childish game of bickering over random points that nothing to do with the original statement.

No one attacked you, the fact that you're feeling defensive is on you, not me. Cultural appropriation isn't that big of a word, and obviously you know what it means or you wouldn't still be here arguing with me.

Besides, I thought you were going to let it go as "whatever I need to believe." That would certainly be way more Christian of you.

I think you're ignorant, and you don't have a clue how offensive you come off. And it's obvious you're not at all interested in understanding how hurtful it is when you make comments about someone else's religion as if it was your own. You think you have the right to, and you're defensive and angry when someone lets you know it isn't ok. My first comment to you was simple and straight forward- Moses isn't Christian, as your comment intimated. You went right into attacks. Now you're down to actual name calling. Is that Christian behavior?

You've been attacking me on being Christian and the Christian religion this entire time while whining at me for offending the Jewish religion and proclaiming that we've been stealing things.

Now I'll admit the Christian religion doesn't have a stellar reputation but you're not even arguing that point anymore, you've just been attacking me and taking cheap shots (that really have no grounds) at my religion in general and then when I defend myself start proclaiming that I'm 'attacking you' and that's the 'Christian way to do things'.

You're not even arguing my original point which is: don't bash religions (not specifically Christianity) and have thus far done everything you can to get further from the point I made and tried to argue, while not actually arguing anything just attacking me, that Moses was Jewish.

Also the "That's very stupid of you" was simply an echo of your 'That's very Christian of you' except I didn't attack your religion based on one sole person, which is very stupid and narrow-minded.

Look, if you had just said "shit, sorry, I know Moses is Jewish, sorry I offended you" we wouldn't be having this conversation. But you went on and on and got more and more insulting- including repeating in every single one of your comments that my feelings about cultural appropriation are "stupid" or "meaningless" or "random". That's offensive, it's been offensive since the beginning, and it hasn't stopped.

This conversation isn't worth my time or aggravation, since you're obviously not able to empathize with anyone who isn't you. That is *not* a good representation of the Christian faith, which actually I have enough respect for to have married into.

I'm pissed off and I need to walk away. I think that's for the best.
