I only remember one from when I was a kid, but it haunted me so much I still remember it. It wasn't the original series, it was in color so it must have been rebooted at some point, early/mid-80s maybe? Unless it was something else that was a series of short self-contained weird stories that I'm misremembering as Twilight Zone.

There was a guy who committed some crime and his punishment was that he would be treated as if he no longer existed. I think he had a mark on his head or something to signify this, and there were these little flying robot cameras watching to make sure that everyone treated him accordingly. So he'd sit down in a chair and someone would come along and sit right on top of him and stuff. And there was a girl, I don't know if she was his girlfriend or his crush or what... at the end, he found her similarly sentenced, freaking out in the middle of a crowded street or some such, trying to get anyone at all to acknowledge her presence, and he made his way through the people and kissed her. And I think the last shot was one of those little robot cameras closing in on them ominously.

I know I've seen other episodes but for some reason that stuck with me to this day.

To See the Invisible Man.

Yeah, that is a good episode.

:D Thank you! It occurred to me while I was making the above post, even if I was wrong and it wasn't Twilight Zone, someone would know what it actually was, hahah.

Hmmm, I bet I could track that down again now. Apparently almost 40 years after having seen it. Thanks!

Sweeeeeeet! I suspected it might be, so many old shows seem to be readily available now. =)

Now I have something else to do to kill the rest of this ridiculously long weekend. (And maybe will watch some other eps too.) Thank you!

that's a great episode!
and the 80's TZ in general doesn't get enough love.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone else mention that it existed, so despite thinking I remembered watching it at about the same time I was watching Knight Rider and Airwolf, and remembering a fair amount of details about this particular episode, I was honestly not sure if I was remembering correctly that whatever I watched was some variation of TZ, hahah.

And this thread has got me realizing I really need to watch more of all of the series. I'd say I'm not sure why I haven't, but it probably boils down to "parents didn't get cable until very late, and only the cheapest package" so I was mostly stuck with whatever aired on local network affiliates in my youth, and never thought to actively look for it later.

unfortunately a lot of the 80's ones aren't available on video for some reason :( (and there was another TZ in the early 00's that wasn't very good. I wouldn't even bother looking for those.)
