Thank you secret maker! Also dear god, I really should look at what I've written before i hit post, even if it's the middle of the night (damn you, timezones)... that last sentence kinda just hangs there (and lost = love was probably autocorrect). I meant that I'm aware that minor named characters are often cannon fodder, so I wasn't *mad* about it per se, but it added to a very long list of things I didn't like.

My favorite Star Ware books are all either EU ones (Thrawn trilogy and duology, X-Wing books, and Darth Plagueis) or movie novelizations (the REvenge of the Sith one is particularly superb). But of the new canon books, these three are definitely good ones. I think the only canon ones I like a little more are the Rogue One prequel novles.
