As someone who suffers from anxiety, dude, shut up. Finding something about yourself to view positively IS a legitimate self-help tip because it's like training wheels for your brain to start thinking positively in general. Does mental illness make that hard? Absolutely! But it's still an OBJECTIVELY helpful thing, no matter what your starting point is.
