Because a lot of people who participate in fandom have anxiety and it doesn't just cover your driving or other Big Things, dumbass. People without anxiety aren't gonna fret THAT much over how others perceive them and their work.

I have perfectionist tendencies and do worry a lot about how my work is perceived when I post it, but I don't have anxiety about it.

A lot of people in fandom like to act like everybody has a mental illness, when that's just not true.

Or maybe, just maybe, a lot of people have mental illness because we live in a soulless capitalistic hellscape that commodifies our everything. You know. A thing that's been studied and shown multiple times.

But no, people are just fakey-fakers and only a small handful of people have Twu Mental Illness.

I bet you spend time on r/illnessfakers or whatever.

Have you considered that blowing up at everyone who you perceive to be too positive about themselves might not be helping anyone on the mental health front?
