for real

I know we could all use less doom and gloom in our lives but everything wholesome like this just comes off like an untoasted slice of white bread. that is, you're waiting for something else to really make it sparkle, like a dab of honey or a run through the toaster, maybe a slice of cheese, but no, all you get is plain white bread. it's not awful, but it's also not exciting and doesn't make you want wholesome goodness anymore.
