I think people are projecting onto this secret way too much. OP of secret isn't being arrogant or overstating their skill set. Recognizing you're good at something doesn't equal arrogance or overestimation of your own skills.

I used to be kind of anxious about my writing and have recently gotten into doing it again and while not on the same level as this anon, you do get better and more confident and able to objectively look at your work and sometimes that objective view turns up no major flaws. With OP's background and experience saying they're good at what they do is in no way arrogant. It's just a fact.

I don't know where the trend started that you have to constantly self-flagellate or risk looking like your ego is as big as the moon AND that you're being mean to other people while you're at it but I see nothing wrong with having a positive view of your own work. It's honestly a good feeling to have and as I've gotten older and gained more experience and gotten less sensitive about my work I can relate more to OP than I used to.

Calling OP ableist is just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks to make them less legit. It's not working.
