You're right, looking at the stats, the number of conservatives tends to be higher than the number of liberals. Even more reason to suspect that a random person on the internet is one.

Eh?

(Anonymous) 2022-02-11 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
What stats are those?

(Anonymous) 2022-02-11 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Mainly the US, such as here: https://content.gallup.com/origin/gallupinc/GallupSpaces/Production/Cms/POLL/5_iy3rqo4uiqjrpx_cdqig.png

If it were my own country, the number of liberals would be even lower. In my country, conservative views by US standards are seen as moderate-centrist views by our standards.

Wow. So based on a statistic from one country and your (possibly anecdotal?) account from another country, you've made a conclusion about all societies.

That's an interesting approach to data analysis and social science.

If a society existed, where there was no significant presence of people on the opposites of the political spectrum, that society would not have a need for more than one political party. Most societies agree that there is a need for at least two such parties.

(Anonymous) 2022-02-11 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
what does that have to do with you misusing statistical data?

(Anonymous) 2022-02-11 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
it means that you need to go outside and touch grass, because you seem to believe you live in an alternate reality that's a worldwide liberal utopia, where everyone loves and cherishes minorities, whereas I live in a world where even the most developed societies struggle with systematic issues created and lovingly maintained by a significant portion of the society.

Or maybe you're a conservative and you think that the current state of affairs is completely satisfactory and asking for anything more is just being entitled. That's also an option.
