Harry Potter. I couldn’t get into any of the movies, so I tried reading the books, but only made it through half of the first one before I got bored with it.

I hyped this one up for myself since I don’t think I saw any actual marketing for it, but I was super pumped to see a movie adaptation of Can You Keep a Secret and I was incredibly disappointed by it (the movie basically cut out all my favorite parts of the book).

I didn't even know there was a movie version of Can You Keep a Secret?!

Are we talking about the Sophie Kinsella book?

Yes! It’s based on the Sophie Kinsella book and it’s available on Netflix (at least in the US). I wasn’t happy with the things that were cut out, but the casting for Emma and Jack was great.
