NAYRT--man, I'm not as nostalgic for decentralized fic posting as some in this thread, but I miss cosplay/costuming resource pages that weren't mostly videos and affiliate links and/or paywalled out the wazoo. I would never have been able to get into cosplay if I'd started out today.

Ugh yes. For some things videos can be helpful, like how to do multi-part techniques, but sometimes I just want a freaking diagram or an answer to "what kind of adhesive works with this material?"
