111. Considering I had the exact same thought after seeing that flash, I think I'm gonna have to agree. Yes, I read and enjoyed the comic and all that, but gosh darnit, my love of campy superhero shows (like Adam West Batman and the Super Friends) seems to trump any sort of intellectual social commentary!

129. Oh, man! Quick, somebody write a crime-fighting crossover! Doesn't even have to be serious; I vote something involving a bizarre plotline that would be right at home in the early Batman comics! It'll be great! Who's with me? ...No?

144. I'm no good at recognizing actors, so sadly I can't sympathize there, but dangit, I just want the movie to leave development limbo sometime this century :c

145. I never really thought of it that way, but you raise a good point; it is a rather unfair stance, isn't it? Sure, I s'pose they're not as fun to watch as cartoons might be, but I find dolls are nice decorations; maybe even like little works of art, so long as one doesn't outright find them spooky. And personally, I like having toys/figures/dolls sitting around, makes my room feel cheerier :D If collecting toys makes me weird, then so be it!

Crowley was originally slated to be Johnny Depp (pictured on the left), who I believe dropped the role because of said developement limbo and him being busy in all the Pirates movies.

Aziraphale...I don't recognize the actor but I swear everyone from Robin Williams to my mother has been considered. Neither of which I think would make a good Angel. That guy...he doesn't look so bad, but I'm with you, I'd just rather see it get made than fuss over particular actors.

Oh ho, now I see it! I rarely watch movies, and my inability to put names to faces just culminates embarassingly when I try to point out actors. Thanks!

Who would make a good Aziaphale, I wonder? I always found the thought of casting anyone to be terribly difficult, fan-cast or no. Everyone looks and sounds a certain way in my head, and it seems nigh impossible to pinpoint an actor that would be a perfect fit. I guess all books-to-movies ae like that, since everyone's got their own interpretation xD; You're right, though, there's no real point in debating 'till the darn thing is actually produced!
