Maybe you should have a little sympathy for your boyfriend. It's a difficult position to be in, to be dating someone of the opposite sex and then realize that you're gay. Anyway, if he's making secrets about it he's obviously being honest with himself -- just not with you.

My heart goes out to the being-strung-along girlfriend. But better that she find out now, by any means, rather than wake up at 60 and realize she's Mrs. Larry Craig.

You clearly have never seen what it's like for someone to come to terms with himself (the example's a guy, we'll use "he") about the fact that he's attracted to men.

I sincerely doubt that he's stringing out the girlfriend (assuming OP's a girl, my apologies if I'm wrong) just for kicks. Yes, it sucks for all parties involved. Yes, in an ideal world, it would be better if all parties involved knew this fact earlier. But the fact that he's attracted to men a) doesn't necessarily mean the end of the relationship and b) doesn't mean that he's an asshole who deserves your scorn. If he keeps on hiding it from his girlfriend for months or years on end after coming to the realization, then yes, that is suckery right there, and yes, it unfortunately happens. But it's hardly uncommon for a guy to date girls before realizing he's gay, bisexual, pansexual, whatever non-straight sexuality he is, and it takes time to come to terms with and accept that realization.

I can understand perfectly well why the girlfriend would be hurt; that's natural, and she deserves sympathy, too. It's a sad place to be in. But flat out assuming that the guy is doing this just to present himself as straight and screw with the girl's head is simply cruel.
