"or interpret words a little too personally and react" - God, if I had a dollar for every time this happened on FS, I'd be rich. People have weird knee jerk reactions to some topics and they start arguing about their personal hobbyhorse topic even if the secret is about something different. It happens all the time, they just miss out on the nuance because they're in a hurry. Poor reading comprehension contributes to this problem, too.
