A random thing

I was going through my medical records the other day and I saw a file that was basically a simplistic family tree diagram with results for a genetic mutation I was tested for last year. Then I noticed that while men were squares and women were circles, I was a diamond. I’m openly nonbinary, but I don’t usually expect legal and medical things to acknowledge it. But whoever or whatever system did that file…did. I have no one to give my appreciation to, so I guess I’m venting it here.
