154. Yeah, this argument was stupid when fanboys told fangirls to stop whining about sexism in superhero comics, and it's still stupid. A) Because not every reader is a writer, B) Books take two years to get published after being accepted, let alone the writing time, C) You can complain and write.
It's like this: you hear your friend say something racist. Do you call them out on it, or pat yourself on the back because you're not racist and not say anything to them? Racism hasn't gone down because individuals decided independently of one another not to be racist-- racism has declined because people have spoken out against it.
