127: Eh, it's good that you got a positive experience out of it. I had a similar sounding 'friend' who pretty much forced me through the first three disks of Sailor Moon whilst on a sleepover, which I really couldn't stand at the time and am still kinda wary of now.

153: It's a vicious circle. Nobody writes about character X so nobody reads about character X so nobody really cares about character X (or not, but at least if they're a pretty obscure character), so nobody writes about them. Or gives you reviews. But yes, that does suck for you.
