Literally shitty. My IBS is acting up, which is always fun, and my foot was bothering me on my walk this morning so I had to cut the walk short. I decided to make myself some lunch, but the food I bought two days ago was bad (deli mac and cheese), so it went in the trash. Then I got a delivery for something I ordered on December 3rd of last year* and had to pay $15.70 in cash, in exact change, to the postman, who was just as confused as I was about the $15.70, and was literally on the phone with his supervisor trying to figure it out when I answered the door. After hearing that I wasn't getting my damn package without paying, I gave the postman a 20 and said to buy himself a coffee with the change, and we both apologized to each other for all the trouble, lol. After the delivery fiasco I decided to doordash some tea, and they got my order wrong and what got delivered was not what I wanted at all and was way too sweet. Sigh. I was supposed to go out to dinner tonight but I don't feel well so there goes that. And I'll probably spend the entire weekend recuperating from the damn IBS (hopefully it goes away by Monday). What a cruddy day.

*I ordered something for myself for Christmas from a small business, fully understanding that I was pre-ordering the item, and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to ship. No problem, I can wait. A week or so after I ordered the item the business says that now it may take 8-12 weeks because of shipping delays worldwide due to this wonderful fucking pandemic we're all experiencing. Again, I understand this, and it is not a problem. The problem is the extra $15.70. I contacted the business and asked what the fuck. Currently waiting to hear back from them but I won't hold my breath.

Like you had to give the mailman cash? Not a deliver/courier guy? Wtf?

Guts hate me as usual and I'm horribly dehydrated and in too much pain to drink anything - but really pleased to finally get my first shiny Ho-oh in Pokemon Go!

Also very relieved that Chewy's shipping is fast and that I realized a few days ago that I was nearly out of bunny food so I better not wait another week for the auto-ship. I just gave my buns the last of what I've got, but another package is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, so it's unlikely I'll have to take time away from the Pokemon Go event to do anything more than bring a box inside. Was not looking forward to stressing about "when is a good time to take a break and go to the pet store?"

Fine. Wishing I was more productive and executive dysfunction didn't keep kicking my ass, but *knock wood* nothing really awful happened to me this week. I do have work tomorrow, but at least I'm not in Ukraine. Or Russia.

Have a headache. Not sure if it's stress or allergies. Probably both.

Good enough, I suppose. I'm cold and need to eat, but pizza's downstairs so I'm excited for it.
Random thought though, Gwyneth Paltrow has a really good singing voice. I just discovered her duet with Babyface "Just My Imagination" and WOW. They sing so well together.

Yeah, despite... um, everything, she's got some pipes for sure. I've got that one duet with her and Huey Lewis on my playlist. I also recall one time she performed CeeLo Green's "F You" (F You, because censorship) with him and it was pretty good.

Really bad. I had an interview for a phd program. I think it went okay. But anxiety is crippling me and making it hard to function.
