Thank you. I'm generally not too bothered with jokey terms when it's from another person outside the binary (funny terms aren't fave though, I'm not even fond of enby), but of course you can't know that in an anonymous space, so it didn't come off too well in this case. Appreciate the confirmation of good sentiment, though.
