Sure, but even in pwp certain authors want to include weird declarations of love so it would be better without a canon partner.

That's funny bc sometimes I like to write Self Insert/Canon to just imagine being fucked by my problematic and evil faves.

For some reason its the bad guys I tend to like doing it for.

Kinda half-same. "I would like to see them have nice sex please and thank you" is definitely a mood. Sort of depends on the fandom whether I then go on to wish that it was more normal to involve OCs in this - I guess it depends on whether or not I think there are plenty of canon characters to choose from or not?

Why would OC ever be popular? I mean... it's okay if that is what you are into but expecting other people to care about non-canon or self-inserts is never going to happen.
