No. Twenty year relationship. When I say minor, I mean minor. Because we were five minutes late for a social engagement, he blew his lid and smashed a window.

So either the 5 minutes wasn't really the underlying reason and something else is building up frustration/anger in his life which probably needs to be addressed with more than an apology, or the 5 minutes *was* the underlying reason and something about how he reacts to emotions has recently changed which he may want to get checked out like, medically, especially if it's to the point of breaking windows over it...

I only mention the medical thing because you mentioned a 20 year relationship and shit can get weird as you get older. If stuff like this keeps happening, sudden drastic changes in behavior could mean hormonal/mental issues cropping up

If that is the first time in twenty years, then I wouldn't worry. Once is an aberration, twice is a worry, three times is when it is a pattern.

I'd be worried about "once is an aberration" because if it's seriously out of character then something caused it (doubtful that it was JUST because of being late) and that something might need dealing with
