I used to, way back in the day before I had a phone or the Internet. I used to carry around notebooks and just stream-of-conscious wrote anything that came to mind. I had roughly 10-15 notebooks, and even a few journals, full of weirdness only kids could think up. One notebook in particular even had a 20 page story about lizard people in it.
