103. All your friends are wicked catty on Rose? Failboat. D: And it sucks that apparently you can't be open about liking her, otherwise this wouldn't be a secret. All the companion hate is one of the reasons why I am afraid to tread into the Who fandom. I like everyone, and don't understand why there's such a war between the fans.

146. As an art student, the opening credits were one of the only parts of the movie I really enjoyed. They were so well done. :D

Visually I thought the opening credits were very well done. I don't even remember what the music was. And even if I did, I don't see why I'm being attacked for it. Just stating a personal opinion.

Mostly because, as an art student, it rubs me the wrong way when people use their credentials as students to give clout to their opinions.

Ha ha, oh, whoops. I didn't even realize that could have come across as douchetastic, though I can see why it might have. D: Totally didn't mean it in a pretentious I AM AN ARTISTE sort of way, but more so that I liked the way the credits were put together because I'm an art student. For example, I'll stop to acknowledge good packaging or typography/scorn bad, which my non-designer friends don't understand, because they didn't have four years of liberal arts rules and methodologies burned into their brains. Everyone appreciates things on different levels, and I just appreciated it on a "ooh shiny visuals :D" level.

So I wasn't trying to boast myself up or anything, or even sway views. Really sorry if I offended!

It's good to know there's some non-RAAAAR fans out there. I've pretty much just been reading fanfic and lurking on journals reading posts, but that's it. Don't have anything to contribute really, so been scared to come out of the woodwork. Hopefully I will eventually!

I gotta ask though. The big bow hat. I see it EVERYWHERE, and the joke is totally going over my head. WHY YOU LOOKING SO PRETTY, TEN?

XD The fabulous Aretha Franklin (http://donedaisy.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/alg_aretha_franklin.jpg) was wearing that hat at Obama's inauguration. Hers obviously wasn't pinstriped though. ;)

I understand about being scared. I lurked a lot before I started posting, but I've met a lot of nice people and have had a lot of fun. :)
