Yep, those are the actors. The eye colors and scar are just manips of the actors' pics.

god, they could have at least chosen actors who resemble the characters :| I wouldn't be so against the film, if it had a good directer, because the guy doing it is absolutely terrible.

also whatever person did those manips really sucks at photoshopping stuff.

haha well thanks for the kind words. Katara's not mine, but everything else is. Considering I just wanted something quick and simple to look decent in a very short time, since I don't have much time to spare. I think it looks alright.

I dislike people who claim to think one thing and, when they are called out on it, grovel and backpedal. If you're going to voice your disapproval of something, either have spine enough to do it to the creator's face, or be a little more tactful in the first place.

at which point did I grovel and backpedal? all I said to the OP was that both parts of the manip sucked, but did their job well enough anyway and that I wasn't sorry for what I'd said to them. so, come on, quote me.

Oh god who cares? It's a shitty photoshop job for a movie everyone knows is going to be even shittier. Seems to me they thought it was something done moar srs, but then heard it was just for the secret. Not a huge transgression.

That was my first reaction when I saw that secret too. I was sort of like uh... isn't Katara black (sorry if this is not PC...) and doesn't Zuko look more... Chinese (or Japanese or Korean, whatever, not like a tanned caucasian or something).

AHAHA well I wouldn't say she's black either alkrwej. but while I understand with some films you've got to suspend disbelief to a certain extent, I do think casting white and Indian actors to play these parts makes absolutely no sense, given the setting of the show and its influences.

I think live adaptations are hard to do well, especially if you have such a great story like this one. fans will be very critical of things that get changed from the canon (see secret 147 yesterday). I don't doubt that the makeup department will do a fine job on making the cast look good but that isn't the point really :/

plus Shyamalan is a terrible director, he hasn't made one good film in his career and I doubt he will start now. sorry for the tl;dr ):
