me too tbh...like, I have no problem with someone having a big ol fandom crush, but at least try to be creative when you talk about it instead of mawkishly, repetitively horny...

Just to be real clear, I've submitted a few secrets about fandom crushes myself. I submitted one this week even. But the thing is that I space em out and I try to make it relevant to my overall fandom experience or to some specific aspect of it that's beyond just "omg so hot," instead of multiple ones in a 2 week period all saying basically the same thing about how hot I am for the character

To be fair, we don't know if this particular secret is from the same anon who's been submitting their space daddy thirst in recent weeks (nor do we know with 100% certainty that each of the secrets are from the same person). I personally think the last one we saw (with the thread response) is not the same person who's been submitting your regularly scheduled thirst secret, and I don't think this one is from either of those two individuals. But that's just my conjecture.

That said, I try to limit my own thirst secrets (frankly they're the only ones I have lol) because I don't want to spam people. That said, I also submit my secrets in the secret maker thread, so I have no control over when or how frequently my secrets might get posted.

I’m not quite to that level yet and I’m actually really happy to see squeeing in fandom again because I haven’t in over a decade. But it’s been a barrage of I’d Hit That secrets and there’s just nothing to engage with except to say one agrees, disagrees, is sick of the secrets, or is happy for anon.
