The way that scene has already read to me is that Tony is trying to hurt Bucky and doesn't really know how far he's prepared to take it. So I'm glad to hear the fight coordinator basically backs that up.

I also agree with you about Bruce. His stance on the accords could definitely go either way. If anything, it's interesting that he's already gone by that point, because if he'd been there I think he would've felt the need to disappear when the accords shit went down. Because ultimately, I think he would feel he had to support them on principle, even while feeling that he personally was far too dangerous and volatile to be in a situation where he could potentially be wielded as a weapon.

Everything about the Accords is complicated. The main "bad take" in my books is the one that insists there are clear cut answers.

I disagree. The one thing Bruce fears more than his own volatility is being used as a weapon by someone else, particularly someone who he knows does not have good intentions like General Ross. I think he would have disappeared to avoid that.
