Thank you for the info! I feel like Spotify is generally the top choice by most people. It doesn't host one's own music on it, though, right? It's just purely a streaming site? So if they didn't have a song I liked, there wouldn't be any way for me to listen to it using the service?

That might not be a deal-breaker for me, but it really depends on how rarely it would happen. I guess I need to go see if Spotify allows non-members to use their search function to see what they have in their library.

No, you can add your own music. You import local files. You would have to download them for offline play however. Not sure if they can be done on the free version.
