Lol it's not a crusade. She just doesn't make me want to support her work anymore, anon. The other day, I was in the theater for Batman and saw a trailer for the new Fantastic Beasts movie and I was like, "Oh they replaced Johnny Depp with Mads Mikkelsen! I like Mads, I should give this one a chance--urgh, oh wait, Joanne..."

See? It's not a constant thing, but when you damage your brand with bigotry and make people associate your stuff with grossness, it just doesn't inspire them to spend money.

Haha okay. When the cultural discourse around your brand has basically turned into "Maybe this shit ain't so hot in 2022", some major damage has obviously been done. This not only means former fans aren't willing to spend more money on your franchise but also they're not enthusiastically introducing it to newcomers.

As someone not in the trans community (I have friends who are, and other friends who aren't)... no. Transphobes outside the community falsely paint it as one with lies about things that nobody in the trans community does. TERFs, however, are by literal definition a cult.
