But using famous names is just campy fun. I don't know about this book, if it's serious, it's no good. But if it's a fun fantasy it's charming

I mean I can understand, tastes differ, but I love all the Oscar Wilde and Microft Holmes (this is a real book) fight crime plots, do not see why Chinese famous names are worse

If by “fun fantasy” you mean post-apocalyptic dystopia where the aspiration of most families is to sacrifice their girl children to the war machine for profit and the main character spends her entire life in constant agony from walking around on the necrotic stumps of her feet,” then sure. It’s a romp.

They borrowed a twist from a second season Futurama episode. That was pretty fun!
