There is a podcast on the history and legacy of Cathy called "Aack Cast". I was never a Cathy fan, but that was one of the best podcasts I've listened to. Definitely have more respect for the comic and Cathy Guisewite.

Cane here to rec this podcast! I used to read Cathy occasionally as a kid (never frequently enough to follow the whole story line) but the podcast was a great listen!

Cathy was always the cartoon I skipped as a kid but reading this secret made me look it up again and holy shit, you're right! I did not expect to relate to them as much as I did. So, you're not alone OP.

As a kid I found Cathy cute if a bit silly. Like, really? She's always so stressed over trying to lose weight or going on bad dates or struggling with work?? LOL I guess?

36 now and when I was like 32 I came across Cathy comics and laughed because I found her so relatable. LOL
