just dropping in to note that everyone should check out the Comics Curmudgeon blog which mercilessly and hilariously mocks newspaper comics and has been doing so for like...14 years or something, so there's a LOT of amazing backposts to sift through for the sweet sweet vindication of seeing someone else rip on your unfavorites. He has a running joke that the Family Circus family is in a cult

I forgot about this blog! I used to read it every day. I should definitely dip back in.

Josh is very funny about the ridiculousness of newspaper comics without actually being unpleasantly mean. I feel like you have to be a fan of what you're mocking to keep a project like that going for so long.
