Speaking of, turns out the conspiracy theory about Bruce Willis' rush to churn out shitty movies because he had dementia and not long left was correct. He announced his retirement from acting today due to dementia and subsequent aphasia. Sometimes the theories are right.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day(or once a day if it's digital), that doesn't mean you listen to it or trust it the rest of the time and I take the same stance with conspiracy theorists. Sometimes they'll be right but that's an accident, not an indicator of any kind of knowledge on their part.

DA

I also feel like there's a huge difference between the theory about Bruce Willis having some form of dementia being proven true compared to the actual whackjob theories that are floating around out there. Like, for instance, the one floating around that all these celebrities who've died recently have actually died because of the COVID vaccines and the government is supposedly covering up that fact for reasons x, y, z. I wouldn't put the theory of an actor potentially having dementia on the same level as that kind of insane conspiracy theory, you know? If Bruce and his family were trying to keep his health issues secret for a time, they would've had logical reason to do so, such as privacy and the like. It's not like they were trying to hide it for some kind of nefarious purposes or something, which often tends to be the case with actual conspiracy theories.

Poor guy. I didn't know that. I mean, I don't even believe he's a good actor but dementia's the worst. I really feel for him and his family.

Yeah, apparently for the last five years or so they've been feeding him lines through an earpiece cause he wasn't able to learn them, and that was why some of his acting choices seemed so either bizarre or dull of affect. Now it has progressed into the starting phases of global aphasia, and that means even feeding him lines won't work. He's only sixty seven, which seems no age these days for this to strike.

I disagree in that I think he was a good actor in his prime, when given the right material. But I agree with everything else.
