It’s fine if you don’t like him, as an actor or otherwise. But it’s excessive to get so annoyed that other people think he’s a good actor. Or people who might think opposite of you in believing he’s an actor who enhances movies and shows he’s been in with his presence. Especially because these are people who are already sad for him and his family, and are saying so. And that annoys you because you don’t agree that he’s a good actor?

Like, I disagree with several people who think so and so’s a good actor or singer etc., but it wouldn’t annoy me if I saw people saying they were after they were forced to retire due to dementia or something else devastating. So I really don’t get how this gets under your skin so much. And the first sentence of where said this is “sad from a human point of view” could have been phrased better, but the rest of that paragraph was good.

And inB4 “wow you’re so judgmental and sanctimonious”, I legitimately just don’t understand still feeling this amount of annoyance at something as simple as a difference of opinion from other people. If that makes me sanctimonious and judgmental, I guess I’ll work on that? And I do believe you that you’re truly sorry for him and his family despite not liking his acting, and that you wouldn’t wish this in anyone. Because I have no reason to believe you’re lying about that. Someone who truly hated a celebrity as a person wouldn’t pretend to care about something happening to them. You see callous people like that all the time. And you’re not one of them.
