I mainly enjoy the melody. Not being a native English speaker makes it easy to shut off the lyrics and concentrate on the melody and the images. The lyrics aren't great, but there're lyrics a lot worse out there than those. Again, I get the dislike, just not the seething hatred, especially to OP's degree, that this inspired. "It ruins All the good song-intros to all tv shows."? Really?

Agreed. I know OP was probably being hyperbolic when they said that, but it was still kind of dumb.
