If you read the actual text, the "petition" does make note that no one's going to do anything with the names/petition. So my assumption is that it's a fake petition more than anything.

I mean, yeah, a bit skeevy, maybe, but it doesn't look like they're planning to mail it to Kripke or something.

What the hell is meant by "we're not going to do anything with these names!" WTF, if it's real, then own what a creeper you're being, if it's fake, then what's the point. That little disclaimer makes it so many levels of fail bending back upon itself through time and space to make more fail. It's like a Mobius strip of fail. A tesseract of fail.
