Even just using the filter settings on your devices can help a lot. I have the brightness on my devices dialed way down, and I have them both set to start filtering out about 60-70% of their blue wavelengths at a certain point in the early evening.

It's super unpleasant for a couple of minutes when the shift happens (if you're using your device at the time), but your brain gets used to it really quickly and stops noticing, and then if you try turning your filters off it's like, "Ahhh, what the HELL?! How is that so fucking BRIGHT and BLUE, omg I'm blind now!!"
